I can't figure out how to log in

Don’t worry! We can help.

There are two different ways that you can log in to your donation dashboard:

  1. Log in by entering the email and password to your HaYovel account. The good news is that all the websites on our network are connected. That means you can use the same password when you’re buying things from our online store, when you’re submitting an application for one of our volunteer programs, or when your logging in to this donation dashboard to print receipts or make changes to your monthly giving. If you know your email and password to our Israel Guys store or volunteer trip dashboard, you can use it here on this page. If you’ve never created an account with us before (or if you’re really not sure), you can log in using this second method . . .
  2. Log in through a verification email. This method is great because there is no need to remember a password. Just enter your email address and click “Verify Email”. Within 1-2 minutes, you should receive an email from us with a special verification link. Click that link and it will take you back to this page and you’ll be logged in. Make sure that you enter the same email address that you used to donate, otherwise you may get an error message that says there is no such account or that no donations were found. 

If you clicked “Verify Email” and you still haven’t received a secure link, it could be for any of the following reasons:

  1. The email with the secure link went to your spam. Check your spam mailbox.
  2. There was a typo in the email address. Try refreshing the page and requesting a new verification link.
  3. You entered an email address that is not associated with any donations. If you have multiple email addresses, it could be that your donation(s) are filed under a different email address. To find out which email your donations are filed under, check your email history and see where we sent your donation receipt the last time you donated. Then come back to this page and use that email address to request a verification link. 

If you’re still unable to access your donation dashboard, please send us an email to webmaster@hayovel.com and we’ll help you get the problem sorted out. 

how do i know if I have a hayovel account?

We have three different websites where you can use your HaYovel account:

  • serveisrael.com
  • app.hayovel.com
  • shop.theisraelguys.com

If you have ever logged in to one of these sites, then you already have a HaYovel account. You can use the same email and password for all our websites. 

The easiest way to tell if you have an account is to click here to reset your password. Enter your email address and click “Get New Password”. It will tell you if there is no account associated with the email address you entered. If it says “check your email for a confirmation link”, that means you do have an account already. Follow the instructions in the email to choose a new password. 

You can now use this log in on any of our websites when you’re donating, shopping, or applying for a volunteer trip.

How do i create a new hayovel account?

The best way to create a new HaYovel account is on our donate page when you make your first donation. If you create a new account now, any donations that you’ve made in the past won’t be connected to your account.

If you would like to create a HaYovel account to manage your donations and utilize features on our different websites, please send us a quick message to webmaster@hayovel.com and we’ll help you get your account set up and linked to any previous donations that you’ve made. 

 

Some of my donations are not listed

If you were able to successfully log into your donation dashboard but only see some of your donations listed, it could be for one of the two following reasons:

You have used multiple email addresses to donate

Our system files your donations by the email address used when submitting the donation. If you have changed email addresses, or if you have multiple email addresses (personal, work, spouse’s email, etc.) your donations may be filed under several different accounts. To print a receipt or make a change to specific donation, make sure to log in to your donation dashboard using the exact email address that you used when making the donation. If you’re unsure which email was used, you can check your email history and see where we sent your donation receipt. 

If you have donations filed under multiple email addresses and you would like them consolidated into one account, feel free to reach out to us by sending a message to webmaster@hayovel.com.


You submitted your donation by check or PayPal

If you donated by check, your donation will not be listed here. This page is designed for managing  donations that were made online through our website. If you’d like a receipt for a donation given by check, please reach out to us by sending a message to accounting@hayovel.com.

You also may not see your donation listed here if you gave by PayPal. Originally this donation dashboard system worked only for donations given through our website by credit card or debit card. As of July 2022, we extended this dashboard system to support PayPal donations. If you donated by PayPal after July 10, 2022, you should see your donation reflected here on this dashboard. If you donated (or set up a monthly donation) before July 10, 2022, your PayPal donations may not show up on this dashboard page. If this is the case for you, you can print receipts and change/cancel monthly donations from your PayPal account. Alternatively, you can reach out to us by sending a message to accounting@hayovel.com and we can help you.

 

I want to print a donation receipt

No problem!

Start by logging into your donation dashboard (enter the email address you used to make the donation and click the “Verify Email” button). We’ll send you an email with a secure link. Open the email and click the secure link to open your personal dashboard. 

Once you have access to your dashboard, click the “Donation History” tab from the left sidebar. Find the donation you want to print the receipt for and click “View Receipt”. After the receipt loads, there will be a green “Download Receipt” button in the lower right hand corner. Click that download your receipt as a PDF file. 

Note: we send year-end receipts to all our donors ever year in January. It will be delivered to you by email and will show a summary of all your donations that you gave over the previous calendar year. This can be used as proof of your tax-deductible giving when you file your taxes. 

You’re also welcome to download your receipts from this dashboard if you wish, but if you have donated multiple times (or have an ongoing monthly donation set up), it can be time consuming to download a dozen or more receipts. 

I want to cancel my monthly donation

If you’d like to cancel a monthly donation, log in to your donation dashboard here on this page. Then click on the “Recurring Donations” tab in the left sidebar. Find the donation you would like to cancel and click “Cancel Subscription”. 

i need to update my credit card on file

If you have a credit or debit card on file with us that we charge your monthly donation to, you can replace it with a new card by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your donation dashboard. You can do this by entering the email address you used to set up your monthly donation and then clicking the “Verify Email” button. We’ll send you an email with a secure link. Open the email and click the secure link to access your donation dashboard.
  2. Click the “Recurring Donations” menu from the left sidebar. 
  3. Find your active monthly donation from the list and click “Manage Subscription”.
  4. Enter your new card details and click “Update Subscription” to save this as your new default payment method.

I want to change the amount of my monthly donation

If you want to keep your monthly donation going, but increase or decrease the amount you are giving, you can do so by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your donation dashboard. You can do this by entering the email address you used to set up your monthly donation and then clicking the “Verify Email” button. We’ll send you an email with a secure link. Open the email and click the secure link to access your donation dashboard.
  2. Click the “Recurring Donations” menu from the left sidebar. 
  3. Find your active monthly donation from the list and click “Manage Subscription”.
  4. Type in a new amount under “Subscription Amount”. On this screen, you can also change your payment method on file by adding a new credit or debit card number. If you leave this blank, we’ll continue charging the same card you currently have on file.
  5. Click “Update Subscription” to save your changes.

I want to switch my monthly donation to go to a different person or cause

If you have an active monthly donation set up for one of our staff members or special projects and you would like to continue the donation, but change who or what it goes towards, the best way to do this is cancel your current donation (see the instructions above for help canceling a monthly donation). Then set up a new donation towards the new person or cause that you want to give to. Click one of the following links to set up your new monthly donation:
