Faith-Based Volunteering in Israel

Your experience in Israel should allow you to make a difference, grow your faith and be immersed in Israel’s rich history and culture.

Get off the tour bus, volunteer in Israel, and watch your faith grow.

  • Connect to the land through volunteering
  • Fulfill biblical prophecy
  • Meet the people and experience the culture
  • See places that most people don’t
  • Deepen your faith, connect to God and watch your bible come alive

We understand that coming to Israel can be intimidating. That’s why we are committed to making your experience as easy and as special as possible.

Volunteering work includes: planting trees and vineyards, harvesting grapes and olives, and pruning vineyards. Volunteers are also taken to experience key biblical sites, both well known and off the beaten track in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, Israel’s biblical heartland.

Volunteer work is seasonal, and depends on the weather, time of year, and what is most needed at the time.

Signing up for a trip is simple. All you need to do is follow these 4 easy steps:

1)  Choose your trip

2)  Talk with our team

3)  Buy your plane ticket

4)  Come to Israel

At HaYovel, we know that you want to be a stronger, more vibrant Christian. In order to attain that, you need to experience Israel through volunteering. The problem is that tours to Israel are expensive and itineraries rigid, which makes you feel like you are wasting your money. We believe everyone should go to Israel in an affordable, yet fulfilling way.

We understand that coming to Israel can be intimidating, which is why we have helped thousands of Christians, from over 30 countries, volunteer in Israel over the last 15 years. We believe that there is a deeper connection to be made anywhere in the world when you serve others. Combine that with the place where our Bible was written and occurred and our faith born, and you have a recipe for a life-changing trip!

Our mission is to bring believers from all over the world to serve the land and people of Israel. At the end of the day though, it’s just as much about you as it is serving farmers in Israel. We have found that many people come to Israel to bless and serve (Genesis 12), but they ultimately receive much more than they give. Jesus said to serve and not be served. Why not serve in the Holy Land, where God spoke for thousands of years?

By just picking grapes on the Mt. of Blessing, planting trees in Judea, or pruning vineyards in Shiloh, you’ll find that you are connecting to the roots of your faith in a way you never imagined. This is the place where prophecy meets reality. Where your Bible becomes 3D.

At the same time, you’ll get to experience places that most people don’t. You’ll tour places where our patriarchs walked and talked, Jesus our Messiah ministered, and where our Bible was written and happened. We take you to places where most tour buses don’t go.

So you can stop worrying about wasting your money on a typical tour and instead come to Israel to volunteer, connect to the people and culture, and ultimately grow your faith.
