Christians airlifting emergency supplies to Israel

JANUARY 2025 UPDATE

Thanks to your generosity and commitment, Phase 1 of Operation Ittai has been successfully completed. Together, we have answered the call to stand with Israel, providing critical supplies and equipment to those in need. With your help, we raised over $3.85 million—an incredible show of solidarity that has already made a significant impact in strengthening the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria during one of the most challenging times in Israel’s history.

WHAT'S NEXT?

As Phase 1 comes to a close, we are no longer accepting donations for this campaign. But the work is far from over.

Many communities in Israel are still recovering from the devastating effects of the ongoing war, and there remains a tremendous need for support on the ground. We encourage you to redirect your donations to our ongoing HaYovel projects—where your contributions will directly aid in supporting families, small farms, and communities through volunteer work.

With your continued support, we can ensure that Israel’s heartland not only survives but thrives, as we serve alongside the Jewish people during this difficult time.

The Mission

The mission of Operation Ittai is to equip and defend 200 communities throughout Judea and Samaria with the critical equipment that they need, ensuring that Israel’s biblical heartland will not only be protected during this time of crisis, but will remain a safe haven for the 500,000 Jewish people who live there.

THE STORY BEHIND Operation Ittai

Since the devastating attack on October 7, 2023, over 1,700 Israelis have been tragically killed by Hamas and hostages still remain in Gaza, while Lebanon, Iran, and Yemen threaten Israel with missile attacks.

In Judea and Samaria (the West Bank), the situation is equally dire. Iranian agents and terrorist organizations such as Hamas, Fatah, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad are operating freely, further jeopardizing the region. With Israel’s military stretched thin, these areas have become vulnerable.

Over 500,000 Israeli Jews live in more than 200 communities across Judea and Samaria, 25% of whom are children under the age of 14. These families are surrounded by hostile forces, many of whom are vehemently opposed to the Jewish presence in the region. Ill-equipped and lacking proper defense, these civilians are at grave risk.

Through Operation Ittai, we were able to make a significant impact in these communities. We raised over $3.85 million, enabling us to deliver essential supplies and security equipment to help defend Israel’s heartland during this critical time.

With your support, we were able to airlift protective vests, helmets, drones, night vision goggles, food, and security gear directly into Israel. These supplies are now in the hands of those who need them most, helping to protect vulnerable communities in Judea and Samaria.

While we are no longer accepting donations for Operation Ittai, the needs of Israel’s communities remain. If you wish to continue supporting vital efforts on the ground, we invite you to direct your contributions to our HaYovel projects, which are still working hard to provide aid to affected farmers and communities.

Thank you for standing with Israel. Operation Ittai may be complete for now, but we will keep you informed should there be future opportunities to support the ongoing defense of Israel’s biblical heartland.

WHO WAS ITTAI?

In 2 Samuel chapter 15, we read that David and all of Israel were attacked by Absalom. Ittai was a man from Gath (modern-day Gaza) who had arrived in Israel only the day before!

David told Ittai:

“Why should you come along with us? Go back and stay with King Absalom. You are a foreigner, an exile from your homeland. You came only yesterday. And today shall I make you wander about with us, when I do not know where I am going? Go back, and take your people with you. May the Lord show you kindness and faithfulness.”

Instead of fleeing from Israel and saving himself, Ittai responded to King David:

“As surely as the Lord lives, and as my lord the king lives, wherever my lord the king may be, whether it means life or death, there will your servant be.”

Ironically, Ittai was from the same town where Goliath came from! Goliath was a man from the nations who chose to attack Israel. Ittai was also from the nations, but he chose to stay with King David and stand with Israel in their time of need.

The war that started on October 7, 2023 has been Israel’s worst crisis since their founding in 1948. This project was established to allow people like you to be an “Ittai” and stand with Israel in their time of need.
