I came to Israel for the first time when I was 3, and cut my teeth on Israeli grapes!

I will take you to the vineyards where I have been blessed to be a part of the Pruning this year, the first time ever that women have joined the team daily! Having seven brothers somewhat prepared me for the experience!!
You’ll join me in the kitchen where my main job is assistant chef, supporting Havah, the kitchen manager. Cooking from 3:30 AM until 5:00 PM during the Harvest and Pruning seasons is so much fun and a great challenge. We feed anywhere from 50 to 150 (or more) people breakfast, lunch and dinner every day for 6 months out of the year! I also make sure our shelves stay stocked, which means I keep up with our inventory and fill a 9 passenger van full of good food weekly.
On the side, my special love is animals! My dream is to have a running farm on the Mount of Blessing one day. I was privileged to help train one of HaYovel’s guard dogs, Badger. As part of my hobby farm, I’m currently bottle-feeding a three month old calf, and am planning to bring another guard dog to the mountain as soon as I can.
